Joanne Foy, Founder of Senior Solutions …

Joanne had been a registered nurse for over 30 years since graduating from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She also holds a Masters degree in Health Education and Psychology. In 1994, she graduated from John F. Kennedy University with a Law degree.

Joanne is a Retired Military Officer, Rank of Major ANC. She served peace time in Korea and during Desert Storm in the 1990′s. She currently is a member of the United States Army Reserve.

Her most recent specialization is in elder care and elder law. She has spent the last ten years working with seniors in a variety of health care settings. She was an inspector for the Department of Health concentrating on surveying nursing homes for compliance with state and federal laws.

Joanne has been a director of nursing for intermediate care facilities and long-term facilities. She is also frequently called as an expert witness for the State of California in matters concerning nursing homes and the residents therein.
